What is Tempo?​

Grafana Tempo is an open source, easy-to-use, and high-scale distributed tracing backend. Tempo requires only object storage to operate and is deeply integrated with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki.

Deployment on Moltern​

Tempo can be deployed on Moltern with a single click. Moltern handles:

  • Automatic SSL/TLS certificates via Let's Encrypt

  • Container orchestration with automatic restarts

Getting Started​

  1. Navigate to the Services page in Moltern
  2. Search for "Tempo"
  3. Click Deploy and configure your settings
  4. Access your instance via the provided URL

Integration​

This service integrates well with other monitoring tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Alertmanager.
